Fernreise im Herbst

Herzogin Meghan (37) und Prinz Harry (34) werden ihre erste große Reise mit Baby Archie antreten: Im Herbst geht es für die kleine royale Familie nach Afrika, wie über den Instagram-Account "Sussex Royal" bekanntgegeben wurde. "Das wird ihre erste offizielle Tour als Familie sein!", heißt es dort euphorisch.

Die Reise führt Meghan, Harry und Archie durch Südafrika, während der Prinz zudem Malawi und Angola einen Besuch abstatten wird. Während seines Besuchs in Malawi plant Harry dem Post zufolge, für seine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation "Sentebale" zu werben, die er 2006 mit Prinz Seeiso von Lesotho (53) gegründet hat, um junge Menschen in der Region, die unter HIV und Aids leiden, zu unterstützen. Zudem ist ein "kurzer Arbeitsbesuch in Botswana" des Prinzen geplant.

TRH The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited to announce that they have been asked to carry out a tour to Southern Africa this autumn. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office have requested a visit to South Africa ?? as well as The Duke carrying out visits to Malawi ?? and Angola ??. His Royal Highness will also do a short working visit to Botswana ?? en route to the other countries. The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the Commonwealth and beyond. This will be their first official tour as a family!
