Prince William, 44, and Australian presenter Robert Irwin, 22, joined finalists and winners during London Climate Action Week. The visit followed William's appearance with Emma Watson, Benedict Cumberbatch and former U.S. vice president Al Gore at a United for Wildlife business forum on June 22.
In an optimistic speech the prince declared he had "proof" the Earthshot Prize is making a difference and that he felt "more optimistic than ever." He pointed to successes including clean-air policies in India, tree-planting in Brazil and the High Seas Treaty to protect international waters.
