Clinton told the House Oversight committee on Feb. 27 that he "saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong," denying awareness of the crimes Epstein later admitted to. He said he would not have flown on Epstein's plane or stayed associated had he suspected abuse and claimed he had stopped associating with Epstein long before Epstein's 2008 guilty plea.
He recounted meeting Epstein after a referral from Larry Summers related to a Harvard brain-research gift. Epstein offered travel on his plane to support Clinton's global AIDS work, the former president said, and described Epstein as "odd" but not someone he suspected of crimes.
