According to a U.S. Secret Service statement, the on-duty special agent suffered a non-life-threatening injury after a negligent discharge while handling a service weapon during a protective assignment just after 8:30 a.m. on Friday. The agent was treated at the airport and taken to a nearby hospital, where officials say he is in stable condition. Philadelphia police told CBS News a preliminary report indicates the gun was accidentally fired inside an unmarked Chevrolet SUV outside the terminal. The former first lady was at the airport but not present when the shooting occurred, and no one else was hurt. The Secret Service spokesperson named in the statement was Anthony Guglielmi.
