What happened inside the family home

Reports say the young child found a .556-caliber AR-style rifle in a bedroom and discharged it, hitting his older brother in the shoulder. The wound was treated at a nearby hospital and described as a flesh wound. Yarbrough told local media he was grateful his son would be okay and that the injured teen was even playing basketball that night. Authorities have called the incident an accident and the Lawrence County District Attorney’s Office is investigating.
