Trotz Corona-Angst: Gil Ofarim singt für seine Fans

Im Ausland fallen neben Sportveranstaltungen auch zahlreiche Großveranstaltungen - beispielsweise der Genfer Autosalon - aus. Die ersten Tour-Absagen großer internationaler Künstler trudelten kürzlich ebenfalls ein. Nach der südkoreanischen Boygroup BTS ("Boy With Luv") und den US-Rockern von Green Day ("American Idiot") überbrachte am Samstag (29. Februar) auch Avril Lavigne (35, "Sk8er Boi") ihren asiatischen Fans eine schlechte Nachricht: Die Konzerte ihrer Tour sind in der Region allesamt abgesagt. Das verkündete die Sängerin auf Instagram.

I am so sad to announce that we are unable to tour the Asian markets due to the continuous outbreak of the coronavirus. My band, crew and I have been working so hard to bring this tour worldwide and are completely bummed out. Please everybody take care of yourselves and stay healthy. You’re in my thoughts and prayers and we are hoping to announce rescheduled shows soon.

Wie viele Absagen wegen des Coronavirus auf die Musik-Fans hierzulande warten, ist bislang noch nicht absehbar. Via Twitter sagte die Band Wolf Parade ihre gesamte Europa-Tournee inklusive einem Auftritt am Dienstag (3. März) in Hamburg ab - eine bittere Enttäuschung für die Anhänger der Indie-Rocker.
